 THE WHOLEFOOD FARMACY NEWSLETTER

July 2005

Greetings Fellow Farmacists,

King of the Hill

Most of us, when we were kids, played a great game that we called 'king of the hill'.  In this childhood game of strength and cunning, the object was to occupy the top of a mound of dirt or the top of the slant on a hill in someone's yard and dare the other kids to try and remove you from your position of honor. This removal was accomplished by speed, strength, cunning and sometimes teamwork. As grown-up kids, we still enjoy playing these games. Competition is healthy. Once in a great while a champion arises who is so fearless, that we begin to wonder if he will ever capitulate. Even though the game is open to all and the rules are simple and the rewards are great, there still arises a great contender.

At the Wholefood Farmacy, we have such a game. It is meekly called the ' Monthly Enroller Contest.'  This contest is open to all, the rules are simple and the rewards are great. (see the MARCH/APRIL 2005 Newsletter in the News & Events section of your WFF website)

A great contender has arisen and he has no intentions of quitting the game. In medieval times he would have been perhaps called “undauntable”, invincible, unbeatable.   Adrian Goad of Smyrna, Tennessee, is this winner. Adrian is driven by sharing a great message, earning a nice part-time, spare-time income, and he enjoys the rewards of winning.  Adrian is no stranger to winning as he has won the contest in the months of March, April, and May. He also was the second place winner in February.

Let's listen to his 'secrets' and see what he does and how and why he does it. We give you the 'king of the hill', Adrian Goad.

Thanks Bruce for the opportunity to share in the excitement of our monthly newsletter!  First I'd like to quickly point out why The Wholefood Farmacy Referral Rewards program is the most user-friendly income opportunity I have ever seen or experienced.  Here are a few reasons:

  • Sign-ups are FREE with zero minimum purchase requirements or membership fees, and our Referral Rewards program has a  low monthly qualifier of only $40.
  • Your own personalized, world-class website is absolutely FREE!!
  • A labor force that creates the products, packages the products, ships the products, handles all the financial transactions including credit card fees, and then, on top of all that they send YOU the check.
  • It’s just Food!  There is no controversy, no hidden truths, and no special studies required.  It’s Just Food!  And they’re some of the most nutritionally dense foods that are both delicious and very convenient.
  • It’s a consumable business.  Many customers will decide to incorporate these foods into their diet for the rest of their lives allowing you a residual income that requires less and less of your time.
  • BEST OF ALL!  We are truly all helping each other.  My truest fulfillment comes from my experiences with other people, testimonials, and thank you notes all while I’m nourishing my own body and life.  I strongly believe in serving others first.  The rewards will take care of themselves.

All of the benefits above are literally worth thousands of dollars in operating costs, yet for all of us they are absolutely FREE!  This allows us to focus all of our time towards being productive in helping others and growing our business.  Plus, you can do as little or as much as you desire with no pressure to do anything more or less.

The most basic, simple concept of this business is to refer people to your website.  However, there are literally thousands of ways to go about this.  I'd like to discuss some of the more effective, yet affordable methods that I use regularly.  Luckily for us, the most effective and powerful method of all is absolutely free, "Word of Mouth"!

1.) Word of Mouth – We all know that word of mouth is by far the best form of advertisement.  Chances are very good that if you have already received an enroller bonus it came from a friend or loved one.  These happen quickly because a trustful relationship already exists.

2.) Walk the Talk and Give Samples! – Word of mouth will always be more effective if people can see you living the truth of whole food nutrition.  Practicing what you preach is a vital component to this kind of business.  Let people see you eating Phi Plus and other products.  Always try to include a sample of Phi Plus in your conversations with other people.  This is a VERY POWERFUL technique.  In my experience, about 90% of people will like the taste of Phi Plus.  Often times they are the ones who will then ask you the questions, and all you have to do is answer them.  This does not require any form of sales experience or pressure.  Always consider yourself a walking billboard.  Living by example is also a great self-motivator.

3.) Speak Where People Will Listen –   For best results, seek out people or places where they are already interested in eating healthy.  The salad bar at your workplace is a great example as it also incorporates some trust.  People you know who exercise, who are healthy eaters, vegetarians, organic buyers, and people who are trying to lose weight are also great examples.

4.) My "10-Cent Advertisement" Business Cards – This is a very affordable way to reach larger numbers.  I leave these little “10-Cent Advertisements” everywhere: with my tip at a restaurant, on a salad bar, near some health foods, inside a health book someone might read, at my chiropractor’s office, bulletin boards at office buildings or stores, people shopping at a health food store or an organic grocery, etc.  The weight loss brochures and our "How To Get Fat..." DVD's are also very powerful and affordable materials that I use regularly.

5.) LISTEN! - Pay attention to what people are talking about around you at all times and everywhere you go.  You'd be surprised how much people talk about different diets, trying to eat healthy, or disease and illness.  Just quickly hand them a business card, brochure, or a DVD with your website and contact information, and simply say something like "I think you may find this website very informative and helpful".  Then just walk away.  That's not too painful is it?  If they don't start asking you questions right then, they will likely visit your website out of curiosity.

6.) Monday Night Conference Calls - I have learned an enormous amount of information to help me grow my business by listening to the Monday night conference calls.  I encourage everyone to participate, and have some fun as well.

Most importantly, in all that you do, treat others with respect and try to sincerely care about them.  It’s been said many times before “People won’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”.  Respect and faith are the foundation of my business.  I hope you find the same choices equally fulfilling.

I wish you the best of luck - Adrian

Rub-a-dub…..Did

As a practicing massage therapist for some 35 years, Dale Huston was pleasantly surprised when one of his clients turned the table so to speak and introduced him to what has proven to be a life changing, health enhancing discipline.  Dale, a proven, highly trained, well-known, and greatly in demand therapist was interested in what one of his Fibromyalgia suffering clients had to say about the Wholefood Farmacy. So, he checked it out.

After thoroughly checking out his client's WFF website, Dale decided to order the Tri-Decathlon Delux. He was curious to see if this event would be of help to him personally. He had had an automobile accident in Oct 2002, and was hampered with extreme fatigue, pains in the neck, shoulder, and back.  All of this, despite having access to other professionals who were skilled at pain relief.

In addition to the injuries from the auto accident, Dale had also blown out his right knee during a rehab program and ended up with a surgery that left him swollen and uncomfortable. This was simply not an acceptable state of affairs for a therapist that worked with 40-50 clients per week. Something had to give, and something Did.

Dale:  "Upon receiving my order, I showed it to several of my clients before I even started the 13 day program. I told them that I would start the next day and start I did. On the 4th day of the Tri-Decathlon Delux, my swelling and pain went away! I was also beginning to notice large differences in how I felt overall. The next day I got on the scales and WOW ...I had lost three pounds as well. Now, finally, once again, I could do all the exercises that I hadn't been able to and do them again I Did!

My friends and clients began to notice that I was losing weight. They were becoming more and more curious.  I went back to eating just regular food and I didn't experience the same pleasure and feelings as I had before. Then I decided to try a Liquithon. This really seemed to open things up. After the Liquithon I did another Tri-Decathlon, and I noticed that I was beginning to really enjoy more and more the Phi+. I was also enjoying the energy and was glad to say "adios" to some unwanted pounds. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone happiness and good health."

Dale started with the Wholefood Farmacy in February of this year and to date has dropped 35 pounds and plans to take his weight on down to 175 by July. That will be an amazing 50 pounds in about six months. Dale is a huge fan of the Hi-Roller deodorant and enjoys Sublime, Posh Spahhh, the Shampoo and Conditioner, and many other products as well. Dale encourages everyone he meets to check out his WFF website. Dale, also, goes to expos and health fairs to share his passion for the Whole Food Farmacy Revolution. (look out Adrian!)

Dottie  Dee..Lightful

Dottie Glass, a.k.a. Dottiedee, is truly a lady that is full of light and a real delight to be in the company of. I first met Dottie in Rogersville, TN at a gathering with the Wholefood Farmacy. She is an impressive girl. When she told me her true age, you could have knocked me over with a feather. She honestly looks twenty years younger than what her driver's license says. What follows is just a small part of her story.

"Life is so interesting. When I graduated from high school, I knew so much. I knew how I was going to live my life, I knew my beliefs, and I believed that my 'system' was in place.  There were just a few things that I didn't have a handle on, 1) I had psoriasis all over my body, 2) I had migraine headaches, 3) I had a less than desirable sense of well being, and 4) I was tired all of the time."

When I was 31 my dear daddy passed away with cancer. It was a shock to me to lose him to disease. He had overcome rheumatoid arthritis with diet when I was a small child. Dad had lived for years, in pain, not being able to walk. I just didn't understand why later he hadn't been able to overcome cancer as well. He was only 63 when disease ended his body's ability to function and to live each day the way he so loved to.

I became determined that I was going to learn what it took to have a life free of disease. I wanted to be free of my discomforts. I spent lots of time studying and experimenting and soon determined to my dismay that what I ate, controlled how I felt. I learned that eating mostly raw whole foods was for me the way to go when I wanted to feel my best.

Over the years, I have spent many hours planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, washing, chopping, and serving raw foods. When I first learned of the Wholefood Farmacy, I was actually 'not interested.'  I was so into my habits such as having to be the one 'fixing the salad', and such, I just didn't think that I would want to mess with a 'company'. The thoughts of making orders or worse yet autoships, and selling products were pressures that did not appeal to me. Besides, it looked so expensive, how could any one afford it? So I didn't jump. Fortunately, a few months later someone else told me about the WFF. This time I listened. I got my own free website. WOW, it was so easy. I found this website to be one of the most user friendly websites in the world.

I got some products, I ate them, I enjoyed them, but because I had been strictly on organic foods for years, I wasn't really looking for any earth shaking results. I have to admit that the foods were tasty, really tasty, but still I have to say, that what was REALLY nice was that 'I saved a lot of time in the kitchen!'  After a few months I decided to do  a Tri-Decathlon. As healthy as I thought myself to be, I have to admit that I did some good internal cleansing and was impressed with the energy and mental clarity that came with doing the Tri-Decathlon. I liked it so well that I did the Tri-Decathlon 3 more times and I did a Liquithon in my first year. Also, I have to tell you just how much I love the Sublime, Shampoo, Conditioner, and the Rejuven8. These products have done so much for my skin and hair and I never want to be without them."

Dottie dee...light..fully sums it up with this, "I believe that the Wholefood Farmacy makes it possible for each of us to move from our acid state of fears and doubts, to our alkaline state of love and peace of mind"

Dottie is an active advocate; she is not a secret agent. We thank you Dottiedee...
