Your most valuable tool in referring others is your FREE Wholefood Farmacy website. In addition, we offer a wide array of effective, yet inexpensive marketing tools to assist you in your endeavors.
Part A - Choosing your tools and setting a monthly advertising budget
Hopefully, the Farmacy Tool Shed Package that you ordered in Step 1 has arrived by now. If you haven't done so already, reveiw each tool and decide which ones you feel compelled to share.
The next step is to decide on your monthly advertising budget. Regardless of your budget, the important factor is to decide on a budget that you can commit to each month. Whether its $10, $25, $50 or more – the key is set a budget that you can afford and follow through with each month. Be sure to save your receipts because your marketing tools are a tax deductible expense as part of your home-based business. Once you’ve decided on your monthly advertising budget, place your order for the marketing tools of your choice according to the budget that you’ve set for yourself.
Part B - Preparing stickers to place on your tools
Each of your marketing tools will have a space where you can indicate your name, website address and phone number. On the brochures, this space is approximately 1 inch by 2 ½ inches. While you’re waiting for your tools to arrive, go to your local printer or copy center and order some stickers that you can affix to your marketing tools. Many people are able to make their own stickers on their home computer which is fine.
You can choose which information you’d like to have on your stickers – in general, the more information you give, the better your response will be. At the minimum, you’ll want to list your name, ID number and your Wholefood Farmacy website address. If you are so inclined, you can also list your email address and phone number – once again, the more information make you available, the better your results will be.
When your tools arrive, affix a sticker to each one in the space provided – if you opted for CDs or DVDs, we recommend affixing the sticker to the actual CD or DVD as opposed to the CD or DVD cover. CDs and DVDs can become separated from the cover and the person listening to the CD or watching the DVD will have no way of contacting you or getting to your website.
Part C - Becoming familiar with your website
Your Wholefood Farmacy website will be your most valuable tool in referring others. Your website is your "virtual store" in cyberspace, like any good shopkeeper you need to know your way around the store. There are over 300 pages of information on your Wholefood Farmacy website that you can access through the various links on the various pages. Explore, educate yourself and enjoy!
Of particular interest are the videos on your home page. Start by watching The Whole Truth and then move on to the other short videos that appear in the right margin of your home page. From there, click on all of the links in your NAVIGATION BAR and explore. Be sure to note any pages that are of particular interest to you so that you will be able to share them with others.
Our public service campaign that we call Wellness Wednesday is of particular interest at this point. Each Wednesday, we send an email to all subscribers that we call the Wellness Wednesday email. These emails are designed to share the latest research concerning the benefits of whole foods and a preventative based lifestyle. They are very well received and both you and your referrals will enjoy receiving them.
In addition, we archive all of our Wellness Wednesday emails so that all may benefit from past issues. You can access the Wellness Wednesday Archive by clicking on the WELLNESS WEDNESDAY button in the NAVIAGATION bar on your home page. Read each of these messages and make note of those messages that you would like to share with others.
Spend as much time as possible reveiwing your website while you are waiting for your tools to arrive. Once your tools have arrived and you've affixed your stickers to each of them, you should proceed to Step 8.
