As people get older they gain weight – but to avoid heart disease, diabetes, arthritis and cancer – they have to get the weight off. 77 Million Americans are clinically obese, 184 Million are overweight. Both of these figures increased 10% between 1994 and 1999. The existing weight loss industry has let America down.
